    Waste Management

During and after the production at Grundig Elektronik certain waste materials are produced which may be recycled or entirely avoided. These materials are eithe r in solid, liquid or muddy state. The waste management method utilized ensures separate collection and recycling of such materials.

The following are examples of methods practiced in order to reduce or recycle waste materials: Faulty plastic parts are broken and granulated and are reused in new products. Styrofoam wastes are regained by the recycling equipment in our styrofoam production facility. Waste paper is reduced to a minimum through the use of standardized forms in the intranet medium.

    Emergency Planning and Attendance

Grundig Elektronik has developed plans for attending to quake, flood, industrial accident, fire and other emergencies and established the Emergency Team (BEKUT). This team is fully equipped and is capable of providing assistance also to neighbouring facilities.
